HOW TO GET
THERE
The Camden Markets are situated in Camden Town, North-West London. (Travelcard
Zone 2).
Cycle.
Come to the markets area on London Cycle Network + Route 6a and park your bike nearby. This link will take you to a map showing the route of Route 6a in blue and the locations of bike stands.
Underground. Camden Town and Chalk Farm are the nearest tube stations.
It is only a 10 minute trip on the Northern line to Camden from the centre
of London.
Bus. Services from many parts of London pass close to the markets
- 24, 27, 29, 31, 134, 135, 168, 214, 253, 274, C2.
Car. Parking in Camden Town for visitors' cars is very
limited, so find another way to travel if you can.
Waterbus. Regular canal trips leave Little Venice for Camden Lock
during the spring and summer months. (We invite waterbus companies to send
us their details).
Coaches. These should drop off visitors in Chalk Farm Road or Castlehaven
Road and park in Albany Street or Cardington Street. |
ACCESS
FOR THE DISABLED
Stables
Market: There is easy access for the disabled to all retail outlets
via any of the four entrances. There is a toilet for use of disabled visitors
within Unit 23 on the Stables street
level map on this site.
Camden Lock Market: This is fully accessible, on all floors,
to the disabled visitor. A lift is situated in the NW corner of the Market
Hall, accessible from Camden Lock Place and there is a toilet for the disabled
on the first floor.
Parking. There is one parking place reserved for the disabled in Arlington Road, (between
Jamestown Road and Inverness Street). Disabled badge holders can park on
yellow lines as long as they follow the usual regulations. |
